Our Story
Real food, made for real parenthood
Groomy started in a Malaysian kitchen with one simple question: why does feeding a baby well have to be so hard? Here's how we've spent every day since trying to answer it — one wholesome, Halal, honestly-made bite at a time.
We believe every parent deserves food they can trust — Halal, organic, and honest about what's inside. We believe every little one deserves real ingredients, not shortcuts. And we believe mealtime should feel like less pressure and more joy, for both of you.
Why Groomy exists
Groomy was founded by Jazneeda Jamil, a first-time mum who started making Halal organic baby food in her own small kitchen in Kota Damansara back in 2015. Too many Malaysian parents were stuck choosing between imported baby food they couldn't always verify was Halal, and homemade meals that ate up hours they didn't have. Groomy is her answer: real, organic ingredients, Halal certified from the very first batch, made specifically for how Malaysian families actually eat and live.
Every Groomy product is manufactured by MummyRQ, our Malaysia-based production partner, under strict Halal and MeSTI food safety standards — so every batch meets the same promise, every time.

The idea
Groomy sets out to build Halal organic baby food made specifically for Malaysian families — no added salt, no added sugar, nothing on the label we can't explain.

Groomy's first Instant Baby Oats goes into production with MummyRQ — Halal certified and MeSTI registered from the very first run.
